PIANO SERVICE

I am a full-time piano student and my baby grand is so near and dear to me. Matt took amazing care of my piano, and was very flexible with my busy schedule. My piano was extremely out of tune and had a sustain pedal problem that I had never come across before. He quickly found the problem and my piano sounded brand new when he was finished. He showed me exactly what the problem was and showed me what he was going to do to fix it. I have never had a tuner/technician be so transparent and thoughtful. He was kind, patient, professional, and has amazing prices for how wonderful his service is. I would highly recommend Hoffman's Melody Shop!

We recently received a used piano as a gift from a distant family member. Since we didn't know much about the piano's history, we decided we should have it looked at. We had Matt come out and work on our piano and he got it back in tune and playing wonderfully. He was easy to schedule, extremely knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. We highly recommend him and will definitely use him again when the need arises.

We have a 1907 upright Steinway that hadn't been tuned in decades. Matt came in and knew just what to do--he has an excellent ear--and was really nice about explaining what he was doing and what might need to be done sooner (vs what could maybe wait a bit). Prices were totally fair and we'll be calling him again soon for an issue with one of the hammers that he said might need to be addressed . . . and which we now see (several months later) totally does!

Matt did a fantastic job tuning our Yamaha piano--it sounds better than ever! He also installed a Piano Life Saver humidification system.
